Cy-Falls grad promoted to rank of specialist
Christopher J. Syon has been promoted to the rank of specialist in the U.S. Army while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Syon, a 2004 graduate from Cypress Falls High School High School in Houston, is a human resources specialist assigned to the Task Force Destiny, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. The specialist has served in the military for two years.
Syon is the son of Eva Newton of Green Castle Way, and Christopher Syon of Nordling St., both of Houston. His wife, Danisha, is the daughter of Rosevelt and Margie McClendon of Diplomat Way in Houston.
