Volleyball: Cypress Falls defeats Eisenhower
Houston Cypress Falls defeated Houston Eisenhower in the 5A bi-district volleyball playoffs on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles won the match in three games, 25-17, 25-19 and 25-15. Cypress Falls is now 19-17 overall and 10-6 in district play.
Chanell Clark-Bibbs, a 6-foot, 1-inch junior, led Cy-Falls with 13 kills in the match. Clark-Bibbs paces the Golden Eagles with 223 kills for a 3.66 kill per game average. Kim Brooks tops the team with a 4.17 kill per game average.
Alexis Austin has 49 kills in 14 games played on the season. As a team, Cypress Falls has 347 kills for a 3.65 kill per game average.
Houston Eisenhower ends its season 24-13 overall and 10-3 in district action.
