Fifth annual International Festival at St. Cuthbert
St. Cuthbert Episcopal Church is hosting its Fifth Annual International Festival on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The International Festival honors all of the different countries and backgrounds represented in the unique and diverse congregation. The festival includes food, games, entertainment, native dress and educational tidbits about the world. Children will be issued "passports" and use flag stickers to mark the countries they visit.
Countries represented last year included Jamaica, Grenada, St. Lucia, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Trinidad, Tobago, Antigua, Barbados, Spain, Russia, Japan, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Liberia, Ghana, Kenya, Germany, Italy, Scotland, Switzerland, England, France and Latvia. The State of Texas was represented as well.
The festival is free to the general public.
St. Cuthbert is located at the corner of West Road and Queenston Boulevard at 17020 West Road.
