HS football: Keeton leads Cy-Creek over Cy-Ridge with last minute drive
Chuckie Keeton's 15-yard touchdown was the difference maker in Cy-Ridge's 22-18 loss to Cy-Creek at the Berry Center Friday night.
Cy-Creek was down 18-8 entering the fourth-quarter. Quarterback Keeton gave the fans hope and rallied the team when he found Jarred Gipson for a 79-yard touchdown pass to bring it to within just one touchdown.
With only 1:38 left in the game Keeton ran 15-yards to a touchdown for the win.
Keeton led the field in passing, 10 of 21 for 223 yards. He finished the season with an impressive completion record of 148 of 239 for 1,859 yards with 11 touchdowns. He completed over 61 percent of his passes.
Casper Isaac, running back for Cy-Ridge, led the team averaging over 13 yards per rush.
Cy-Creek ended the season with two straight victories.
