Diabetes seminar at St. Lukes

St. Lukes Hospital at The Vintage will host a diabetes wellness seminar at the Cypress Creek YMCA on Nov. 11.

Millions of Americans have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and many more are completely unaware that they are at high risk.  To promote diabetes awareness, St. Lukes Hospital at The Vintage will present a diabetes wellness seminar at the Cypress Creek YMCA on Thursday, Nov. 11 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The presentation will be given by board-certified internal medicine specialist, Dr. Thuan Nguyen.  Dr. Nguyen has been in practice for over fifteen years and is continually involved in research regarding diabetes.  Type 2 diabetes and the importance of healthy eating will be the focus of the seminar.
