Tomball ISD bus driver sues towing company
A bus driver for Tomball ISD is suing a Cy-Creek towing company after a car accident.
Cynthia Thrush filed suit in Harris County District Court on Monday, Nov. 8, against Cy-Creek Towing and Recovery. Thrush says that the driver for Cy-Creek Towing failed to come to a stop in his tow truck at a red light and caused the collision.
In the suit, Thrush says that in May 2009 she was driving a Tomball school bus eastbound on FM 1960 when she came to a stop at the intersection. The driver of the tow truck, which Thrush says was traveling at a high rate of speed, came up behind the bus, failed to stop at the light and collided with the bus. Thrush was unable to avoid the accident.
Thrush is seeking damages for past and future expenses needed for the medical care and attention for her injuries. She is also looking for pre- and post-judgment interest, court costs and all other damages that incurred.
Thrush is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Robert T. Saunders.
