Cy Creek benefit planned for Shelby Friedsam's family

Cypress Creek High School students will be holding a benefit dinner for the Shelby Kay Friedsam Memorial Fund on Saturday.

Shelby, who was a student at the high school, died in a family house fire on Nov. 4. All proceeds from the dinner will benefit her family.

The event will be held at the high school, 9815 Grant Road, from 6 to 9 p.m. Students will sell Italian dinners for $10, hold a silent auction and take donations.
