Lone Star College displays student art exhibition
Lone Star College will be unveiling a student art exhibition on Nov. 30 to be on display through Dec. 9.
The exhibition will take place in the Bosque Gallery and feature the work students have completed in their classes. The art includes photography, painting, drawing, design, ceramics and sculpture.
According to Associate Professor of Art Laura Fisher, the students' work at LSC Cy-Fair reflects not only their creativity, but also their commitment and dedication in pursuing their artistic goals. The students will attend the reception so the community may meet them and view their work.
The opening reception begins at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2.
The Bosque Gallery is located in the Center for the Arts building at LSC at 9191 Barker Cypress Road. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. For more information, go to www.lonestar.edu/bosquegallery or call 832-482-1038.
