HS girls basketball: Cy Falls defeats Katy Taylor
The Cy Falls Eagles (2-0) defeated the Katy Taylor Mustangs (1-1) 69-45 Friday night in girls basketball.
Cy Falls led Katy Taylor 36-19 at half and outscored the Mustangs 33-26 in the second half, ensuring the victory.
The Eagles' Macy Moore led all players with 19 points.
Larissa Scott contributed 12 points, and Katherine Metoyer and Sadalia Ellis each scored 10 points in the Cy Falls victory.
Amanda Jungwirth led the Mustangs with 13 points and Holly Ray added 11 points in the losing effort for Katy Taylor.
