Cy-Fair Sears employee sues trucking company over fall
A woman is suing a trucking company, stating its driver unexpectedly moved his tractor trailer, causing her to fall.
Taraneh Pourjahan filed suit on Nov. 11 in the Harris County District Court against Schneider National Carriers and its employee, Freddie Jackson, alleging negligence.
Pourjahan says that while unloading goods for Sears in Cy-Fair, she was seriously injured when a driver, without warning, moved his tractor trailer. She says his sudden movement caused her to fall four feet from the loading dock, resulting in permanent bodily injuries and severe shock.
Pourjahan is seeking compensatory damages, exemplary damages and court costs.
She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Kelly Kowis.
