HS boys basketball: Cypress Ranch loses to Katy Cinco Ranch
Cypress Ranch falls to Cinco Ranch in District 19-5A basketball action on Tuesday.
Cinco Ranch won the game 59-44, pushing it to 1-0 on the young season.
Chris Saiz, a 5-foot, 9-inch sophomore guard, led all scorers in the contest with 20 points for Cinco Ranch. Garrett Wilson, a 6-foot junior guard, added 11 points in the victory.
South Houston squares off against Cinco Ranch in the Texas Invitational on Thursday at 10 a.m.
Tanner Hoyt, a junior forward, paced Cypress Ranch with 15 points in the loss.
Cypress Ranch visits Lee on Friday at 7 p.m.
