HS boys basketball: Langham Creek defeats Seven Lakes
Langham Creek defeated Seven Lakes in District 19-5A basketball action on Tuesday.
Langham Creek won the game 59-47, moving it to 1-0 on the season.
John Johnson, a 6-foot, 2-inch senior forward, led all scorers in the contest with 18 points. Reggie Simmons, a 5-foot, 8-inch senior guard, added 14 points. Quinn Taylor, a 6-foot, 5-inch junior guard, chipped in 10 points in the victory.
The Langham Creek Lobos host Klein Forest on Friday at 7 p.m.
Princeton Onwas, a 6-foot, 3-inch senior guard, led Seven Lakes with 15 points in the defeat. Erick Roberson, a 6-foot, 4-inch junior guard, added 12 points for Seven Lakes.
Jersey Village pays a visit to Seven Lakes on Friday at 7 p.m.
