HS boys basketball: Cypress Woods falls to College Park
Cypress Woods lost to College Park in District 17-5A basketball action on Tuesday.
College Park won the game 68-28, pushing its record to 1-0 on the year.
Evan Cooper, a junior, led all scorers in the contest, hitting for 19 points in the win. Senior David Bender added 11 points for College Park.
College Park will play Collins in the Texas Invitational on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
The loss dropped Cypress Woods to 0-1 on the year.
Cody Thomas, a 6-foot, 3-inch junior forward, led Cy-Woods with nine points in the defeat.
Humble visits Cypress Woods on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
