HS boys basketball: Cypress Ridge v. Oak Ridge
Oak Ridge battles Cypress Ridge in District 14-5A basketball action on Thursday.
The game is a part of the Magnolia Dawg House Invitational. Games are being played all day long today. This game tipped off at 9 a.m.
Oak Ridge is 1-0 on the year after beating Klein Oak 76-53. Terrell Lawrence, a 6-foot, 4-inch senior, had 18 points in the win. Daron Gamble, a 6-foot, 1-inch senior forward, added 11 points for Oak Ridge.
Next up is a trip to Brenham on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Cypress Ridge is 0-1 on the year, losing their only game 97-71 to Morton Ranch.
Tendrick Stephens, a 5-foot, 9-inch senior, scored 25 points in the loss, and Anthony Branch, a 5-foot, 10-inch senior, added 18 points.
Cy-Ridge visits Houston Stratford on Monday at 7 p.m.
