Cy-Fair's Peoples signs with Longhorns
Cassie Peoples
Cy-Fair's Cassie Peoples was one of four recruits signed to the University of Texas Lady Longhorns.
A 5-foot, 6-inch guard from Houston, Peoples led the Bobcats to a Class 5A state championship last season. She averaged 14.9 points and more than three steals per game during her junior year when she earned UIL All-State First Team honors.
Peoples is also a 2010-11 Houston Chronicle Preseason All-Greater Houston first-team honoree and a member of USA Basketball's under-18 national team.
