Lone Star Cy-Fair nursing program to graduate 29 nurses

Lone Star College-Cy-Fair's Associate Degree Nursing program will be graduating 29 nurses next month in a pinning ceremony.

The graduates will join the more than 150 program graduates in the health care field.

As the semester comes to a close, the program also is celebrating its new state-of-the-art clinical simulation nursing lab. Among the features of the new lab are more than 35 interactive simulation mannequins, including a wireless SimMan and two labor-and-delivery simulators.

Additionally, the program received an eight-year accreditation and three nursing grants to implement an exchange program and encourage student retention.
