LSC Cy-Fair theater department earns staff, student honors

Lone Star College-Cy-Fair's recent performance at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival earned them the prestigious Respondent's Choice Award.

In addition to the Respondent's Choice Award, the production of "The Quadroon Ball" garnered several Excellence Awards.  

The students honored include Alex Bejarano, Elizabeth Hererra Mermis, Kenton Schwenke and Adam Al Hussan.   

The staff members honored include Darhiel Bohuchot, Matt Albrecht and Reba Kochersperger.

Guest artists also received Excellence Awards. They were Andrea Cudjoe, Cheray Josiah and Kedrick Brown.

The KCACTF is an organization committed to advancing appreciation of college theater. According to the press release, this prestigious event is an opportunity for students to have their work critiqued by qualified outsiders.
