HS football preview: Cy-Fair v. Katy

The Cy-Fair Bobcats (9-2, 7-2) will face the Katy Tigers (11-0, 7-0) in area 5A playoff action this Saturday at the Barry Center.

The Bobcats defense will have its hands full with the Tigers high-powered running game. Led by the 1-2 punch of running backs Donovonn Young and Adam Taylor, the Tigers running attack averages 332 yards per game this season.

Cy-Fair quarterback Chris Mangram will lead the Bobcats into battle. Backed by leading rusher John Jacob and leading receiver Christian Cook, the Bobcats have a well balanced scoring attack that keeps the defense guessing.

This playoff match-up is slated for 1 p.m.
