Cy-Fair area plumber sued over alleged shoddy work
A River Oaks condominium association is suing a Cy-Fair-area plumber over allegedly defective work and materials.
Inwood Manor Condominium Association filed a lawsuit on Nov. 18 in the Harris County District Court against Walter Pickett Plumbing and Ace Duraflow Systems alleging breach of contract and breaches of warranty.
The association says that in March of 2005, it contracted with the defendants to repair the plumbing problems in its high-rise condominium, located at 3711 San Felipe. According to the brief, the defendants used substandard materials when repairing the building's plumbing system. The plaintiffs say the defendants have refused to redo the shoddy work.
The plaintiff is seeking actual and exemplary damages, attorney's fees and court costs.
It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney George Gibson.
