HS football playoffs: Cy Woods stomps Katy Taylor
Colton Huntsman ran for 137 yards and two scores and passed for 138 yards and two more as Cy Woods routed Katy Taylor, 67-7 Saturday night in the 5A-Division II playoffs.
Taylor (6-6) managed only 154 yards of offense and six first downs. Cy Woods (9-3) gained 513 yards and had 25 first downs.
The game was 30-0 after one quarter and 53-0 at halftime.
Stand-out Taylor running back Bright Ashaka was held to 57 yards on 20 carries.
For Cy Woods, Huntsman averaged 14 yards per carry. Jeff Bogans added 78 yards on eight carries.
Cy Woods advances to play Clear Creek in the next round.
