HS boys basketball preview: Humble v. Cy-Woods
Cypress Woods hosts Humble in boys high school basketball action on Tuesday.
Humble is 1-4 on the season after losing 57-49 to San Antonio Clark on Friday at the Pasadena Tournament.
D.J. Southworth, a 6-foot senior, averages 18.3 points per game to lead Humble. Tilton Johnson, a 6-foot, 2-inch senior, adds 11 points per game to the Humble effort.
Houston Cypress Woods is 0-1 on the year after losing 68-28 to Conroe Woodlands College Park.
Cody Thomas, a 6-foot, 3-inch junior forward, averages nine points per game to lead Cypress Woods. Noah Fake, a 5-foot, 11-inch sophomore guard, contributes six points per game for Cy-Woods.
Tuesday's tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
