HS girls basketball preview: Cypress Ranch v. The Woodlands
Cypress Ranch will visit The Woodlands in high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Cypress Ranch is 3-2 this season, defeating Fort Bend Kempner 36-19 in its last contest.
KiKi Devane, a senior forward, leads the Cy-Ranch shooters with 25 points this year, giving her a 12.5 points per game average.
Cypress Ranch will play host to Klein Collins for its next game on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
The Woodlands are 7-2 thus far, winning its last match-up 49-41 over San Antonio Jay.
Junior post Anna Strickland leads the team in points and rebounds this season, averaging 11.9 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game. Sophomore Abby Boyd and junior Kara Evans excel from the free throw line, shooting 17-18 combined for the year.
The Woodlands will host La Marque for its next game on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
Tip-off for this Tuesday's contest is set for 7 p.m.
