HS boys basketball: Cy-Ridge falls to Stratford

Stratford defeated Cypress Ridge in boys basketball on Monday.

Stratford won the game 65-56, moving them to 2-2 on the season. Damion Curry scored 13 points in the win to lead Stratford.

Jackson Hart, a 6-foot, 3-inch senior, leads Stratford in scoring at 14 points per game. Lotanna Agbasi, a 6-foot, 4-inch senior, is second on the team in scoring at 13 points per game.

Next up for Stratford is a trip to Cy-Fair tonight at 7 p.m.

Monday's loss dropped Cypress Ridge to 1-2 on the season. Anthony Branch, a 5-foot, 10-inch senior, led Cy-Ridge with 20 points in the loss. Branch averages 19 points per game to pace Cy-Ridge.

Next up for Cypress Ridge is a visit from Humble tonight at 7 p.m.
