HS boys basketball: Cy-Fair falls to Memorial
Cy-Fair lost to Memorial in boys basketball on Monday.
Monday's loss dropped Cy-Fair to 1-3 on the season.
BJ Jones, a freshman, scored 18 points in the loss for Cy-Fair. Jones paces Cy-Fair on the season, scoring 16.5 points per game. Cody Wall, a senior, adds 15 points per game for Cy-Fair.
Stratford visits Cy-Fair tonight at 7 p.m.
Memorial won the game 44-36, moving it to 2-4 on the season. Brooks Taylor, a 6-foot, 5-inch junior forward, led Memorial with 19 points in the victory. Taylor paces Memorial in scoring at 15 points per game, while Connor Phillips, a 6-foot senior guard, adds 11 points per game.
Next up for Memorial is a visit from Reagan tonight at 7 p.m.
