Body of missing Houston woman found

Officials have found the body of a Houston woman who was reported missing.

The body of Tanya Benavidez was found in a field off US 290, officials with the Harris County Sheriff's Office said. Officials said they believe the 35-year-old woman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Earlier today, sheriff's office officials said they were searching for the woman, who was last seen in northwest Houston Saturday morning.
