LSC Cy-Fair offers free new student orientations

Lone Star College-Cy-Fair will be offering free new student orientations throughout the months of December and January.

Students who pre-register for the orientation will have the opportunity to take a tour of the campus, learn about programs, meet an advisor, choose classes and register for the spring semester.

Lone Star student leaders, faculty and staff will be on-hand to assist.

Dates for the orientations are:
Dec. 9 - 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Dec. 14 - 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 4 - 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Jan. 4 - 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 6 - 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Jan. 6 - 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Jan. 11 - 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Jan. 11 - 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 13 - 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Jan. 13 - 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.    

All sessions are free, but space is limited, and students must pre-register online at LoneStar.edu/cyfair-orientation to receive a confirmation with room location and parking information.    

Orientation sessions will be held in the Technology Building, Room 102, at the campus at 9191 Barker Cypress Road at West Road.
