NW Harris County woman found dead; car missing
A woman was found dead and her car missing at a home in northwest Harris County early Saturday, authorities said.
Deputies responded to a call at a home in the 15200 block of Yorktown Colony around 8:30 a.m. and found the woman, identified as 45-year-old Joyce Lynch, lying dead on the floor inside, authorities said.
An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will determine Lynch's exact cause of death.
Investigators later determined that Lynch's 2007 silver four-door Honda Accord, license plate CB7-W733, was missing from the residence.
Anyone with information in this case or the whereabouts of Lynch's vehicle is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit at 713-967-5810 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
No further information was immediately available.
