HS boys basketball preview: Cypress Ranch v. Stratford

Cypress Ranch visits Stratford in high school boys basketball action on Monday.

Cy-Ranch is 3-1 on the season after beating Klein Collins 75-73 on Wednesday. Kyle McElroy, a senior guard, led Cy-Ranch with 18 points in the win.

Keith Ford, a sophomore guard, leads Cy-Ranch in scoring on the season at 17 points per game. Zach Radcliffe adds 16 points per game, and McElroy is third on the team in scoring at 14.5 points per game.

Following Monday's Stratford game, Cy-Ranch will visit Humble Kingwood Park on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

Houston Stratford is 3-2 on the year after defeating Cy-Fair 62-59 on Tuesday. Sherif Jones and Jackson Hart each scored 13 points in the victory.

Hart, a 6-foot, 3-inch senior, leads Stratford in scoring on the season at 13.5 points per game. Lotanna Agbasi, a 6-foot, 4-inch senior, is second on the team in scoring at 13 points per game.

After facing Cy-Ranch, Stratford will host Houston Memorial on Friday.

Monday's tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
