• Notable: The senior quarterback and Air Force commitment was 15-of-25 passing for 206 yards and ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in the Wildcats' 52-24 win over Clear Creek in the Class 5A Division II Region III semifinals.
• Quotable: "That's a good football team. They played hard and gave us all we wanted. But we made a few plays. Colton's pretty special."

• Leroy Dobbins, Montgomery: The senior running back had 32 carries for 216 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 24-20 win over Dawson in the Class 4A Division I Region III semifinals.
• D.J. Griggs, Brazosport: The junior point guard averaged 33.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.7 steals in four wins for the Exporters this week. In a 80-68 win over Washington on Tuesday, Griggs amassed 40 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.
• Daymond Lewis, Columbia: The senior quarterback had 22 carries for 242 yards and four touchdowns in the Roughnecks' 36-27 win over Somerset in the Class 3A Division I Region IV finals.
• Peter Maetzold, Friends-wood: The senior quarterback was 23-of-36 passing for 186 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 129 yards and a touchdown in the Mustangs' 35-13 win over Humble in the Class 4A Division I Region III semifinals.
• Wayne Taylor, Memorial: The senior quarterback has 18 carries for 137 yards and three touchdowns and was 4-of-4 passing for 71 yards and a touchdown in the Mustangs' 34-19 win over Port Arthur Memorial in the Class 5A Division II Region III semifinals.
