HS boys basketball: Cypress Creek defeats Tomball Concordia Lutheran
The Cy Creek Cougars (3-3) defeated the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders (1-3) 59-48 Monday in boys basketball.
Lutheran led 28-21 at half but were outscored 38-20 during the second half by Cy Creek.
Joseph Munoz and Michael Klefas each had 14 points leading Cy Creek in scoring and 5-foot, 11-inch senior guard Michael Allen contributed 13 points to the Cougars victory.
Six-foot, 7-inch Lutheran junior forward Tyler Holloway led all players in scoring with 18 points and teammate Sheldon Williams added 12 points during the defeat.
Cy Creek hosts Fort Bend Austin Friday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.
