HS boys basketball preview: Cypress Falls v. Elsik
Cypress Falls hosts Elsik in high school boys basketball action on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Cypress Falls is 2-2 on the season after losing 56-54 to Klein on Wednesday. Kerry Kang, a 5-foot, 10-inch senior, has 15 points in the narrow loss.
Matt Slade, a 6-foot, 3-inch senior, leads Cy-Falls in scoring at 16.3 points per game. Kang goes for 12.8 a night, while Kavin Tillbury adds 12 points per game for his squad.
After hooking up with Alief Elsik, Cypress Falls will visit Fort Bend Elkins on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m.
Elsik is 3-4 on the season after losing 69-64 to Katy Morton Ranch on Saturday. Greg King, a 5-foot, 11-inch senior wing, and De'Shawn Robinson, a 6-foot, 1-inch sophomore, each had 18 points in the loss.
On the season, Robinson leads Elsik in scoring at 18.3 points per game while James Curtis adds 14 points per game.
Following the Cy-Falls matchup, Alief Elsik will visit Humble on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m.
