'Silent Night Out' celebrates sign language
The Lone Star College-Cy-Fair Sign and Deaf Culture Club is hosting a Silent Night Out event Dec. 10, designed to help students practice or learn sign language.
Students taking American Sign Language courses are encouraged to come out and practice, as is anyone who knows ASL and would like to meet others who sign.
The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Conference Center, rooms 151-152, on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress. Light refreshments will be served.
