Texas Children's outpatient clinic opens on I-10
The Texas Children's Hospital outpatient clinic building is open at its new West Campus, Interstate 10 and Barker Cypress,
The pediatric emergency center and hospital services are on target to open in the spring.
The 220,809-square-foot outpatient clinic building at the West Campus facility provides specialized pediatric services with board-certified pediatric specialists and experts including nurses, rehabilitation specialists and child-life specialists.
The first and second floors of the building include outpatient areas for physical/occupational therapy, speech therapy, diabetes/endocrine treatment, gastroenterology and nutrition practices.
Additional outpatient clinic practices include: audiology, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, orthopedic surgery, pediatric surgery, pulmonary medicine and urology.
In the spring, the hematology/ oncology clinic will open, increasing the number of outpatient clinics at the facility to 11.
Outpatient services previously provided at Texas Children's West Houston Health Center will be offered at the West Campus facility.

Families that have had patients at Texas Children's main campus or at one of its health center locations will recognize many familiar faces, noted Riley-Brown, since all the pediatric specialists at West Campus outpatient clinics have previously practiced at one or more of Texas Children's locations.
Physicians who are members of the West Campus outpatient care team include: Dr. Jennifer Feldmann, adolescent medicine; Dr. Ellen Friedman, otolaryngology; Dr. Maria Garcia, allergy and immunology; Dr. Frank Gerow, orthopedics; Dr. Edmond Gonzales, urology; and Dr. Mohammed Hussein, ophthalmology;
Others include: Dr. Nikki Janzen, urology; Dr. Imad Jarjour, neurology; Dr. John Jones, otolaryngology; Dr. Binal Kancherla, pulmonary/ sleep; Dr. Walid Kaplan, diabetes/ endocrine; Dr. Daniel Leung, nutrition/gastroenterology; Dr. Monica Lopez, pediatric surgery; Dr. Allen Milewicz, pediatric surgery; Dr. Siby Moonnumakal, pulmonary; Dr. Jennifer Rama, pulmonary; and Dr. Barbara Reid, nutrition/ gastroenterology.
In addition, staff physicians include: Dr. V. Shenava, orthopedics; Dr. Marcelle Sulek, otoloaryngology; Dr. Sharonda Taylor, adolescent medicine; Dr. Steven Wolfe, cardiology; and Dr. Parvin Yazdani, diabetes/ endocrine.
Also, Amy Magruder in audiology and Sarah Raye and Denise Brockman in speech therapy are providing services at the West Campus.
In addition to the specialty clinics, the building houses the campus' primary care pediatric practice, TCPA – Town & Country @ West Campus, which is open and accepting appointments.
The practice relocated from 909 Frostwood Drive, Houston.
In the spring, West Campus will open a 12-bed pediatric emergency center, 48 inpatient rooms, three operating rooms, a special procedures suite, advanced diagnostic imaging services including MRI and CT scans and a neurophysiology sleep laboratory.
