Cy-Fair Chamber announces holiday schedule changes

The Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce has announced changes to its holiday schedule.

The General Membership Luncheon, sponsored by the Houston community newspapers, will be held on Dec. 14. The luncheon costs $25 with a reservation and $30 without a reservation. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to contribute to the Happy Bear Toy Drive. The luncheon will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northwest Forest Hotel and Conference Center, 12715 Telge Road. Call Cindy Downey at 281-373-1390 for more information.

The Dec. 15 Community Safety Committee meeting has been canceled due to the holidays, as has the Dec. 16 Education/Workforce Development Committee meeting.

On Thursday, Dec. 16, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Creed Orthodontics P.C., 26281 N.W. Freeway, Suite 290. Call Dr. Benjamin Creed at 281-256-3838 for more information.

On Dec. 17, the Finance Committee will meet from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. The Board of Directors will then meet from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Both meetings will be at the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce, 11734 Barker Cypress, Suite 105.

On Dec. 21, the Networking/Business Development Committee will meet at the Chamber of Commerce from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Refreshments will be provided by Jason's Deli.

Business After Hours has been canceled for Wednesday, Dec. 22.

The Chamber office is closed for the holidays Dec. 23, Dec. 24, Dec. 27 through Dec. 31, and Jan. 3.
