HS girls basketball preview: Cypress Woods v. Langham Creek
District 17-5A rivals Cypress Woods and Langham Creek are set to battle in girls high school basketball action on Tuesday.
Cypress Woods is an impressive 12-3 on the season, yet 0-1 in district play. The Wildcats are coming off a tough 52-50 loss to Cypress Lakes on Wednesday.
In her senior season, Jennifer Nash leads the team in scoring with an average of 18.6 points per game.
On the season Langham Creek is 10-6 and undefeated in district play at 2-0. The Lobos are coming off a 41-38 win over Cypress Lakes on Wednesday.
Christina Brosnaha, a 5-foot, 7-inch senior guard, leads the team with an average of 16.9 points per game.
Tuesday’s tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
