HS girls basketball preview: Cypress Lakes v. Cypress Creek
District 17-5A rivals Cypress Lakes and Cypress Creek take to the court in girls high school basketball action on Tuesday.
Cypress Lakes is 7-8 on the season and in its last game, lost its first district game of the year falling to Langham Creek 41-38.
Sophomore Jewel Angelo is living up to her name, shining with a team-high 16 points per game.
Cypress Creek is 11-6 on the season and won its only district game, defeating Cypress Ridge 64-19 in its last game.
Senior Maddy McGlamery is averaging 16.2 points a game in her final year with the Cougars.
Tuesday’s tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
