HS girls basketball preview: Cypress Ranch vs. Cy-Fair
District 17-5A rivals Cypress Ranch and Cy-Fair will meet on the court in girls high school basketball action on Tuesday.
Houston Cypress Ranch is 9-11 on the season and 1-1 in district play. The Mustangs are coming off a 55-15 loss to Houston Cypress Falls on Monday.
Senior guard Hillary Morris is averaging 12.7 points a game for the squad.
Houston Cy-Fair is 8-9 on the season and 1-1 in district play. The team is coming off a close 52-50 win over Houston Cypress Woods on Wednesday.
Senior guard Cassie Peoples is averaging 23-8 points per game to lead the team in scoring.
Tuesday’s tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
