HS boys basketball: Cy-Springs defeats Jersey Village
Cy-Springs defeated Jersey Village in District 17-5A hoops action on Tuesday.
The Panthers won the game 47-35 moving to 11-9 overall and 1-0 in district play. Marquel McKinney, a senior guard, scored a game-high 19 points in the victory.
Cy-Springs will visit Cy-Woods on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s loss dropped the Falcons to 3-14 on the year and 0-1 in district games. Ryan Garcia, a junior guard scored 14 points in the defeat.
Jersey Village will host Cy-Falls on Friday at 7 p.m.
