HS girls basketball preview: Cypress Ranch V. Langham Creek
District 17-5A rivals Cypress Ranch and Langham Creek will battle in girls high school basketball action on Friday.
Cypress Ranch is 9-12 on the season, and 1-2 in district play. The Mustangs are coming off a 60-49 loss to Cy-Fair on Tuesday.
In her senior year, Hillary Morris is averaging 12.7 points per game for the team.
The Mustangs will next visit Cypress Ridge on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Langham Creek is 10-7 on the season and 2-1 in district play. The Lobos are coming off a 36-31 loss to Cypress Woods on Tuesday.
Senior guard Christina Brosnahan is averaging 16.6 points per game to lead her team.
The Lobos will next visit Cypress Creek on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Friday’s tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
