Courses in nonprofit administration offered at LSC Cy-Fair

Whether you're looking to make a career in philanthropic work or are already a nonprofit professional, the Lone Star College system may have something for you this semester.

The Lone Star campus in Cy-Fair will be offering to the public "fast track" courses in the fundamentals of nonprofit management. The courses are open to the general public and are designed to be completed in as little as two weeks.

Courses available are:

Fund Raising for Nonprofits -- meets 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 31 through Feb. 9.

Grant Writing -- meets 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 1 through Feb. 10.

Nonprofit Marketing and Public Relations -- meets 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Feb. 21 through March 2.

Management Fundamentals for Nonprofits -- meets 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, March 28 through April 6.
