Cypress Creek High to host kickball tournament, Cougar Day

Cypress Creek High School’s Cougar Kickball Classic and Spring Cougar Day will take place in February.

The Cypress Creek's Athletic Booster Club (CCABC) will be hosting the Cougar Kickball Classic on Friday, Feb. 4, and Saturday, Feb. 5. Teams will be coed students, and registration for the tournament has begun. Information will be made available on the CCABC website. Teams interested in signing up may see Coach Philip Franklin for registration information.  

CCABC’s annual spring fundraiser, Cougar Day, will also be held on Feb. 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at the football stadium, located at 9815 Grant Road. The community is invited to participate in the day’s festivities, which will include a baked potato meal sale, a silent auction and face painting.   

The day will also showcase the spring season boys and girls sports including  baseball, soccer, softball, track and field, swimming, golf, wrestling and tennis. Several of the teams will have intersquad scrimmages or do demonstrations.

All funds raised will go directly to support Cypress Creek's boys and girls athletic programs.
