HS girls basketball preview: Cypress Springs v. Cypress Lakes
Cypress Springs battles Cypress Lakes in District 17-5A girls high school basketball action on Friday.
Cypress Springs is a disappointing 3-12 on the season and 0-2 in district play. The Panthers are coming off a 43-27 loss to Jersey Village on Tuesday.
Senior guard Sable Wallace is averaging 12.5 points per game to lead her team in scoring.
The Panthers will next host Cypress Woods on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Cypress Lakes is 7-9 on the season and 0-2 in district play. The Spartans are coming off a 74-46 loss Cypress Creek on Tuesday.
Sophomore guard Jewel Angel is averaging 16 points per game to lead her team in scoring.
The Spartans next host Cypress Falls on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
