LSC-CyFair students win early registration raffles

When they registered early for classes in the Lone Star College system this year, Jairo Chamorro and Savanah Flores probably just thought they were saving themselves a little stress. But now it turns out the two students will save $500 off their tuition and fees as a result of a systemwide raffle.

Lone Star's administration sponsored the giveaway this year to encourage early student registration through its new online system. Two other winners, Jevitta Benjamin and Patricia Garcia, will receive $200 gift cards to the student bookstore.

Chamorro and Benjamin attend LSC-CyFair while Flores and Garcia are at LSC-Fairbanks Center.
