HS girls basketball: Cy-Fair defeats Cy-Ridge
Cy-Fair defeated Cy-Ridge in District 17-5A hoops action on Friday.
The Bobcats won the game 49-31, moving to 10-9 overall and 3-1 in district play. Cassie Peoples, a senior guard, scored a game-high 16 points in the victory.
Cy-Fair will visit Cy-Lakes on Friday at 7 p.m.
Friday’s loss dropped Cy-Ridge to 4-21 on the year and 0-5 in district games. Karissa Hayter, a senior guard, scored 13 points in the defeat.
Cy-Ridge will host Cy-Ranch on Tuesday at 7 p.m
