HS boys basketball: Cy-Creek defeats Cy-Woods

Cy-Creek defeated Cy-Woods in District 17-5A hoops action on Friday.

The Cougars won the game 59-47, moving to 8-13 overall and 1-0 in district play. Justin Comer, a senior forward scored 16 points in the victory.

Cy-Creek will visit Langham Creek on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Friday’s loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-14 on the year and 0-2 in district play. Rashaud Dave, a senior guard, scored 16 points in the defeat.

Cy-Woods will host Cy-Springs on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
