HS boys basketball preview: Cy-Springs vs. Cy-Woods
Cy-Springs visits Cy-Woods in District 17-5A hoops action on Tuesday.
The Panthers lost to Cy-Lakes 56-48 Friday, dropping to 12-10 overall and 1-1 in district play. Richard Benedyth, a junior guard, scores 24.6 points per game to lead Cy-Springs.
Following the Cy-Woods game, the Panthers will host Cy-Ranch on Friday at 7 p.m.
The Wildcats lost to Cy-Creek 59-47 Friday, falling to 2-14 on the year and 0-2 in district games. Christian Haynes, a junior guard, scores 16 points per game to pace Cy-Woods.
After clashing with the Panthers, the Wildcats will host Jersey Village on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
