HS girls basketball preview: Langham Creek v. Cypress Creek
District 17-5A rivals Cypress Creek and Langham Creek are set to battle in girls high school basketball action on Tuesday.
Langham Creek is 10-8 on the season and an even 2-2 in district play. The Lobos are coming off a 53-38 loss to Cypress Ranch on Friday.
Christina Brosnahan is having a nice senior year, averaging 16.6 points per game to lead the team in scoring.
The Lobos will next host Cypress Ridge on Friday at 7 p.m.
Cypress Creek is 12-7 on the season and 2-1 in district play. The Cougars are coming off a 57-51 loss to Cypress Woods on Friday.
Senior forward Angelica Weaver is averaging 15.9 points a game for her team.
The Cougars will next visit Cypress Falls on Friday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
