Cy-Fair company sues over bounced check
A software consulting company is suing over a bounced check and service fees.
Advent Global Solutions of Cy-Fair filed a lawsuit on Jan. 7 in the Harris County District Court against EC Manage, alleging breach of contract.
The plaintiff says that on Sept. 26, 2008, it entered into an agreement for software consulting services with EC Manage, a California company. Advent Global states that it billed EC Manage over $61,000 for services rendered, but when EC Manage delivered a check in the amount of $17,000, it was returned for insufficient funds. According to the brief, EC Manage continues to refuse to honor its debts to Advent Global.
Advent Global is seeking actual damages, attorney’s fees and court costs.
It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Sesha Kalapatapu.
