HS boys basketball: Cy-Springs defeats Cy-Woods

Cy-Springs defeated Cy-Woods in District 17-5A hoops action on Tuesday.

The Panthers won the game 77-64, moving to 13-11 overall and 2-1 in district play.

Richaed Benedyth, a junior guard, scored a game-high 27 points in the victory.

Cy-Springs will host Cy-Ranch on Friday at 7 p.m.

Tuesday’s loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-15 on the year and 0-3 in district games.

Alfred Pullom, a sophomore forward, scored 14 points in the defeat.

Cy-Woods will host Jersey Village on Friday at 7 p.m.
