HS girls basketball: Cypress Woods defeats Cypress Springs
Cypress Woods crushed Cypress Springs 66-37 in District 17-5A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Cypress Woods took control early but really put the game out of reach with a 21-5 third quarter.
The win ups Cypress Woods to 16-4 on the season and 3-1 in district play.
Senior guard Jennifer Nash scored 15 points in the victory.
Cypress Woods will next visit Jersey Village on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss brings Cypress Springs to 3-14 on the season and 0-4 in district play.
Cypress Springs will next visit Cypress Ranch on Friday at 7 p.m.
